A Bit About Maggie
Maggie Queen is an educator at heart with a deep commitment to supporting the people who make schools work. With over a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and district-level partner, she brings a calm, practical, and human-centered approach to instructional leadership.

As the Founder and Principal Consultant of Queen Education Partners, Maggie helps schools and districts strengthen instructional systems—aligning leadership teams, improving observation and feedback cycles, supporting new and struggling teachers, and building planning and PLC routines that bring instructional priorities to life. Her work is grounded in listening first, building trust, and offering clear, realistic next steps that teams can use right away.

Maggie has supported districts across Texas through initiative rollout, professional learning design, and leadership coaching. She holds current Texas certifications in 6–12 Mathematics, PK–12 Principal, T-TESS Appraiser, and Cognitive Coachingâ„ . Originally from Texas, she now lives in Costa Rica with her husband and their three dogs, where she enjoys good coffee, meaningful work, and the creative adventure of building something new.

Launched a consulting practice dedicated to supporting schools and districts with curriculum implementation, instructional coaching, and professional learning design. Provides equity-centered, relationship-driven support tailored to local context and district goals. Services include virtual coaching, on-site workshops, and systems planning aligned to grant initiatives and HQIM adoption.
Carnegie Learning – Manager of School Partnerships
Supported districts across Texas in implementing high-quality instructional materials and school improvement initiatives. Led professional learning experiences, coached instructional leaders, and helped design progress monitoring systems, walkthrough tools, and implementation plans aligned to grant requirements and campus needs.
Galveston ISD – Assistant Principal & Instructional Leader
Led instructional systems and supported teacher development at the campus level. Facilitated PLCs, guided campus-wide planning and data conversations, and helped implement a federal Magnet Schools grant. Conducted equity-focused action research to improve academic pathways and student discipline outcomes.

Pasadena ISD – Secondary Math Teacher & Curriculum Contributor
Taught high school mathematics courses (Grades 9–12) with a focus on student-centered instruction and technology integration. Contributed to the district’s curriculum development for multiple math courses, supporting alignment to standards and instructional best practices. Championed blended learning initiatives and presented at local ed-tech conferences to share strategies for meaningful digital integration.
