In Human Terms

In Human Terms Hero Logo: Research, Foresight, Educational Practice. Education for a future worth living,

In Human Terms is my ongoing inquiry into the future purpose of education in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.

Through essays, field notes, and emerging frameworks, I explore how education can prepare people not simply to adapt to technological change, but to think well, contribute meaningfully, and advance human flourishing.

What Are We Preparing People For?
Introducing In Human Terms—a public research and writing project about education, artificial intelligence, and human flourishing.

Introducing In Human Terms article card. Title: "What are we preparing people for?"

Help shape the inquiry

In Human Terms is being developed in public because the large questions I'm asking cannot be answered from one discipline, role, or perspective.

I’m interested in connecting with educators, researchers, policymakers, students, technologists, workforce leaders, and others thinking seriously about the future purpose of education. Collaboration might include research conversations, interviews, responses to emerging ideas, practitioner examples, contributed perspectives, or projects we have not imagined yet.

If this work connects with questions you are exploring—or if you see something important that is missing—I’d like to hear from you.
